- MSLOOP consortium has prepared an event to disseminate the project results
- The inauguration of the workshop will begin at 9am and its closure will be at 16pm in the Faculty of Mathematics of the Complutense University of Madrid.
The MSLOOP innovation project will be held at the Complutense University of Madrid a workshop and discussion session on the topic “MSLOOP 2.0: Key elements for the new solar thermal energy plants”. The deadline to register for the event is June 30th.
The MSLOOP project was funded in the EUs Horizon 2020 program and started in November 2016. MSLOOP aims to validate a business opportunity consisting of developing a cost effective solar field for CSP Parabolic Trough Power Plants using optimized ternary molten salts as heat transfer fluid with an innovative hybridization system.
The result of the project has been a new solution of CSP commercial plant with at least a 20% LCOE (Levelized Cost of Energy) reduction capable of providing firm and dispatchable electricity through a disruptive hybrid plant concept and more environmentally sustainable.
The aim of this workshop is to disseminate the project results and to bring together the main actors of industry, plant owners and researchers related to Key element for the new solar thermal energy plants.
